Bill Jordan

In 2007, three of Bill Jordan’s plays received full productions at the Around the Coyote Winter Arts Festival in Chicago, and his play Not Once received a workshop reading at The  London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Bill has performed as a puppeteer with Redmoon Theater, and his work as a cultural advocate has received support from three grants from the Illinois Arts Council. He is currently program coordinator and dramaturge at Natya Dance Theatre.

Join us at 8 p.m. at Black Rock, 3614 N. Damen, for readings from Achy Obejas, Emily Gray Tedrowe, Shannon Cason, and our first play: a staged reading of an excerpt from The Right Amount of Bad by Bill Jordan.  The reading will be directed by Sergio Dow and features actors Nathan Pease and Dan Zellner. Our featured organization will be Open Books.
