Reading Guidelines

If you are interested in reading your work at Sunday Salon NYC, please send us an excerpt of your work (5 pages or less) and your bio. We tend to book months in advance, and if we are interested in having you read, we will contact you.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions call for upcoming summer/fall issue of SalonZine themed “Spill”. We’re looking for stories and poetry about spills of all kinds: oil, beans, emotions, etc. (things that get out of control, that we try to control, that control us…)

The deadline: August 15, 2010.

We’re scouring every nook and cranny of the literary world for the best prose and poetry to include in the SalonZine. We’re accepting fiction (short stories, novel excerpts that can stand alone), literary nonfiction (memoir, essay), and poetry on almost any theme that suits your fancy. We’re not terribly impressed with pedigree, so don’t worry about past awards or published status—just send us your best.

All submissions must be in digital format (MS Word or similar…not in the body of an email please), single spaced, and with your bio. Prose submissions must be 7000 words or less and a limit of three poems max per person. Send all submissions to editor {at} sundaysalon.com. Although we reserve the right to pick and choose what we please, we’ll let you know we received it.
