Crystal Belle was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a high school English teacher in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn. Belle is an activist and idealist who has been writing poetry since the age of 10. She loves performance poetry and has an audio CD titled Size Me, featuring ten poems. As a graduate of Middlebury College, her work has been featured in several on-campus journals such as Skin Deep Magazine, The Campus Newspaper and a few online blogs.
