Dickson started his career at Level One Productions (Nairobi, Kenya), where he worked on a huge variety of projects including commercials, game shows, wildlife and Factual Documentaries. Since he left there to go freelance in 2002, he has concentrated more on long form projects gaining an excellent reputation at Tiger Aspect where he has just finished working on Seaside Parish 4. In its fourth series, Seaside Parish has exceeded all expectations, so much so they changed the time slot and it gained the highest viewing figures for BBC 2. Dickson is an enthusiastic and talented Cameraman with a directing streak who is passionate about delivering high quality programmes. He’s skilled at shooting on film, Beta and DV and more recently HD using a wide range of cameras, editing software, sound recording, research, script writing and dealing with large complex productions, he typically forms excellent working relations in any programme he works on and is always asked back by clients. He is currently working on Adam as a feature writer. He loves to cook, travel and spend time in the bush.
