Josip Novakovich

Josip Novakovich, professor of English and Creative Writing at Penn State and new professor of English and Creative writing at Concordia, was born in Croatia. He has published four books of fiction, including April Fool’s Day and Infidelities (Harper), two of nonfiction, and two of practical criticism, and his work has been translated into a dozen languages. He has won many awards, including the Whiting Writer’s award, Ingram Merrill, and the Margolis prize.
