Renée Rosen is the bestselling author of WHAT THE LADY WANTS: A Novel of Marshall Field and the Gilded Age and DOLLFACE: A Novel of the Roaring Twenties and WHITE COLLAR GIRL, set in the 1950s against the backdrop of the Chicago Tribune and the Daley Machine. She is also the author of the young adult novel, EVERY CROOKED POT. Her latest novel WINDY CITY BLUES, tells the story of Chess Records, the birth of Chicago Blues and the Civil Rights Movement. It will be published on February 28 by Penguin Random House/Berkley. She lives in Chicago and is currently at work on a new novel about Helen Gurely Brown.
